T.R. Foley has given us something to discuss

I understand why he did the "tease" because he is self promoting, nothing wrong with that. Annoying but again understandable.

One of TRs favorite pundits is Maddow, so this is not only understandable but makes a lot of sense.

Video evidence of Rei learning mat wrestling has long been rumored on the mat.

What are the odds that this is a giant nothingburger? I just cant see any "real" news at PSU being broken by intermat.

Call my dad.

I dropped my intermat membership after Josh's ped state comments followed by his very weak apology. If it wasnt for the entertainment value of foleys d-bag articles, their coverage doesnt bring anything that differentiates them from the small wrestling pack that exists.

People hate on flo because that is what haters do, but they have made intermat irrelevant.

Try not to hate on anyone, though I must say that Flo has completely dropped the ball with me. It's a private matter, and life's full of choices, so I'll be choosing the route that they have earned by the way they have treated one of their customers.

not sure of your issue and really thats your business, not ours. But the day they fix their customer service and streaming its a check mate. Till then they win some, they lose some.

I think they all do a good job: Flo has solid pros who know wrestling like Willie and CP, all the way up and down the chain, Intermat does their thing well, Track does it's own thing well, etc. No need to hate on any of them. Personally, I'm glad we have them, they help the sport and they are entertaining as well as informative. If the mod of this site hates Foley, then that's his thing...this board doesn't have to subscribe to group think and hate him too. Make up your OWN minds.

I tend to agree with the Flo guys most of the time, but not on each and every thing, that's as it should be.

Let's assume for a moment that there is some truth to this. Most of the people posting here are too young to remember Yojiro Uetake who was a 2X Olympic gold medalist and also on the starting lineup at Ok State. Uetake was pretty much unbeatable at the college level. He also assumed a major leadership role at Ok State which was only natural considering that he was one of the best wrestlers in the world at that time. Someone posted a video of the NCAA finals on YouTube that was filmed somewhere around the 1964 -66 time frame and Yoji is in one of the matches. It's the only video of him that I know about.

He is the clickbait king. But it can't be true why would Higuchi want to leave the pure form of wrestling as Foley likes to say.

I, for one, welcome our Japanese overlords.

Very true, dunk. I tend to believe customer service is a critical aspect of any business, and what I got was, well, very 1960'ish.

Here is a video of the 1964 NCAA Championships including Uetake's win - HIT THE LINK. Here is a video Okie State did when he was inducted into their Hall of Honor: HIT THE LINK.

A little history for you all. Uetake was only taken down once in his collegiate career. Yep it was by a Penn Stater. One Mark Piven. That was at the NCAA Tourney which was held at Cornell. Mark lost that bout but finished third at 130 that year.

Yum...
Big bowls of mixed fruit -- check
Eggs, scrambled or omelet style -- check
Short stack of pancakes or waffles -- check
Plenty of ice water -- check

I might throw in some bacon or sausage, but that's just my preference ;)

Looks like they're all having FUN. :D
