Talk about "bad beats" - ending of Eagles game a classic for Redskins bettors

The Eagles are favored by 5 1/2 points (+/-), and Washington is down 4 as the final play is about to be run. If you bet on the Redskins plus the point spread, you have a winner and can't lose your bet unless the Eagles somehow score a TD on Washington's last play of the game. Well, and many of you probably saw it, the Washington QB is about to be sacked and fumbles trying to toss a desperation last second pass. You guessed it --- the Eagles pick the ball up and run it in for a TD as time expires. A lot of money exchanged hands on that play --- and a lot of Redskins fans are probably still in shock and have lighter wallets (of course if you bet on the Eagles, you were the recipient of a totally unexpected "good beat")
