Team added to schedule 2028

I rather enjoy the non competitive cupcake games to attend. But then again to me the main point in going to games is as an excuse to visit the PSU campus and State College. Having a relaxing game that is stress free and seeing the team perform well while enjoying the town makes for a great weekend. YMMV.

Less than that. You get the Beaver Stadium experience for $15 vs Kent State on different sites. I went to economical games like that in the years right after graduation. Unfortunately that included the infamous Toledo game.
Speaking of Toledo, they are kicking the shite out of Miss St on the road. 38-17 with 6:11 left in the 4th. It was 38-10.

Final 41-17.

When I was young and relatively poor, games like UMass were the only ones I could afford tickets to. "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled Eastern Michigan, Colgate, and Youngstown State, etc., yearning to make a buck for a road game."

I never had enough NLC points back then to get tickets to the quality games. That is why the stadium stayed relatively full for crap games. It was us poor folks just wanting to be able to experience a home game without breaking the bank.
That's still the case today.

They might not sell out all those weak games but enough will attend. Ticket holders will sell if they don't want to attend. And there will be plenty of people willing to pony up.

My daughter went to the BG game with her boyfriend's family. They don't have season tickets. They bought them from others who didn't want to attend.

My wife wants to go to a game. I'm running out of reasons not to take her to one.
