Anyone here anything about him being gone at the end of the semester?

YoungGuns’ silence on Teasdale should tell you everything. The dude was all for discussing a room battle when it involved Cutch.

Well, that settles it, Teasdale is a goner. Because if anybody knows, it's some random HR dude.
They did correctly call Cenzo to heavyweight. No, no that wasn't it. Shoot, it was Cenzo and Hall switching weights. They got that right. Oh no they missed that one.
Anyhow, its Penn State and with all the connections the HR folks have I am certain HR knows Penn State.

Or in this case, HR posters hand out the piss cups at PSU.

I think “plan” was the word he went with, not want
Not that it matters much, but you are correct, or at least more correct than I was. The quote was: "I mean Teasdale's planning on wrestling, Teske wants to wrestle."

HR post claimed 2 failed drug tests.

Although highly reliable as an investigative journalism institution, even HR should have difficulty accessing NCAA information such as this not to mention that protected by HIPPA.

In any case this would be farther down my list of what might truly be
happening including weight issues, injury, poor grades, homesick, and the list goes on...

Once you get to drug violations it spells bad news for any athlete as the consequences follow you even if you change schools.

Well I am pretty sure the Flo guys know what is the real story and if accurate details start to leak out they may then be free to talk to it, we'll see.

Until then, let's give the kid the benefit of a doubt. I look forward to his present and future here.

Cael has a plan... he always does.

Repeat after me the ledgend's prayer: "Our coach, who's heart belongs to heaven, Howard be thy name. In titles come, Cael's will be done. On Earth he built a slice of heaven."

If you didn't pick up on it, once a week retire to a quiet room, close your eyes and recite this prayer changing only one word, while sifting through your season tickets with one hand.

Next week substitute Ferrari for Howard, the week following, Saunders,..Bartlett... You get the picture now. Howard just seemed a bit more timely for this first time ;-)

Imagine many of youve heard rumors about Teasdale off the mat issues. When hearing about them during his high school days weed was always brought up.So to hear he mightve failed a drug test wasn't a shock to me.Hopefully Cael can talk some sense into him and the kid can straighten up his act.

What drug is "slightly harder" than weed? Pardon my ignorance. Molly? Pills?

I get that it's a message board and discussion of rumors is routine but some rumors, like this one, can have adverse real world impact.
You could see a transformation on social media - went from a baby faced kid to wanting to be cool in a manner of months. We’ve all seen it in friends. They’re the down in the dumps guys at high school reunions.

Forget wrestling for a second. Hope he gets it figured out for his own sake.

There ya have it. End of speculation time to move on and hope Gavin can figure it out mentally and with his health and come back this January and prove hes good, and wrestle in 19/20.

Well, it's a lot more than the previous rumors. But if you think it will end speculation, I suspect you are mistaken.

With a statement from the team:

“Gavin Teasdale has withdrawn from school for the fall semester for personal reasons and is no longer on the Penn State wrestling roster.”

turned 20 in october
18, 20 whatever. These are college kids. Sorry, I have a kid who is a junior in college and I think these kids need to have their space. It’s part of the growing up process we went through.

Hey Gavin - do what you have to do to get things straightened out, then come back to the best room in the country ready to Rock. You have got great talent and we all wish you the best and hope to see you reach your potential and achieve your goals in blue and white. You probably would have redshirted anyway so the impact to you and the team is minimal at this point. You'll find BWI ready to embrace you when you return just do so in the right frame of mind and body.

Sad to see with Teasdale. I wish him well in his recovery. Gotta remember these are kids trying to figure out life. Hopefully his talent won’t go to waste.
