I reported him to the NFL at https://digitalcare.nfl.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

The Centre Daily Times (Nov. 17) reports in "He broke Joe Paterno’s leg, calls it ‘proudest moment’ in college,"
"In 2006, Penn State quarterback Anthony Morelli threw a sideline pass to tight end Andrew Quarless, who was tackled by Wisconsin linebacker DeAndre Levy. The two players flew out of bounds, crashed into Joe Paterno and the coach’s leg was broken. Levy reflected on his career with Men’s Journal recently and called the play "my proudest moment in college.”"

Levy then explained that he was proud of seriously injuring an opposing coach because of Paterno's alleged role--a role that has been utterly discredited--in failing to stop Jerry Sandusky from abusing children. Paterno actually did exactly what Penn State's existing procedures, and the NCAA's current procedures, required him to do, but the bottom line is that an NFL player, in his capacity as a Detroit Lions team member, said he was proud of injuring somebody seriously during a football game.

I am accordingly bringing this to your attention under the NFL Standard of Conduct clause, " Conduct that undermines or puts at risk the integrity and reputation of the NFL, NFL clubs, or NFL players."

I would like nothing more than after Penn State wins the B1G CCG for Franklin to thank all of the players, coaches, admin, and fans and then tell a national audience it is time for the B1G to put the great Joe Paterno's name back on the trophy alongside the great Bo Schembechler, pause, then slap a sticky note with Joe Paterno's name on the trophy as he hoists it high in the air.

Penn State is 8-2. Get over it.

Alongside Bo Schembechler's name? What trophy are you talking about?

The B1G CCG trophy is the Stagg trophy, formerly the Stagg-Paterno trophy. And to mention or refer to Paterno for this year's team accomplishments would be in bad taste.

I share your sentiment but unless it affects their bottom line, the NFL doesn't give a crap about anything. Neither do the Detroit Lions.

I tried to call the detroit lions but I can't find a phone number - just a form email template.

NFL ? Integrity ?

He's too immature, unintelligent, and of low moral character to consider. He's beneath contempt.
