I did not expect to be saying this, but I mean it. Today, Mr. Bannon came out with the following public statements;;
1. The Nazis and white supremacists who marched in Charlottesville are a "collection of clowns."
2. "There is no military solution in North Korea. Forget about it." He asked someone to "tell me how any military solution does not result in ten million people in Seoul dying within thirty seconds."
Those are expressions of pragmatic realism which I very much appreciate. His statement on North Korea was certainly noted in Pyongyang, and has lowered tension considerably.
