Conservative estimates range anywhere from $1.876B to $7.562B. I say 'conservative' because it assumes refugees get off public assistance after five years. Biden is asking Congress to appropriate $6.4B. Because Washington notoriously understates costs it's reasonable to assume the top number of $7.562B is close to actual. Also, keep in mind these numbers are in addition to the 50,000 - 100,000 refugees per year and 20,000-50,000 political asylees per year we already accept. 
Right now SOS Bliken is meeting with his German counterpart at Ramstein Air Base in order to facilitate how many refugees each country takes, but it looks like we're already committed to 95,000. So far the US has accepted 22,000 and Germany 4,000.

For example, China's population is 1.4B with a sizeable population and ergo, connections already in the US. We can't afford to fight them if we can't afford to feed and clothe them, too.
