Honestly, no board on Rivals was dumber than the Lair last year. To anoint the QB as Kenny Heisman was incredibly dumb. And what a finishing touch in the last regular season game. 8 yards passing. Now they have pretty much abandoned him. That's so Pitt.
This is exactly right. Pitt and a whole bunch of other programs at their level face reality and recruit the best players they can. They have to pick their spots to compete for the blue-chippers. The BS is to basically say he doesn't recruit the higher rated kids because they have attitude issues and prefers the lower-ranked guys with high character. Narduzzi is just rationalizing and the Pittsburgh media is going along with it, instead of telling the truth. Of course, no coach ever says that his class sucks.
Yeah, I can't wait to read the laughable utter nonsense that the Lair will come up with this coming summer. It always makes for an amusing, entertaining read.
Guys, maybe we should beat pitt before we make fun of them.
Yeah, but we won’t beat them next year because we’re losing McSorley....you know the guy that was overrated and played better than he actually is.

I guarantee no recruit signed with Pitt that had a legit offer from Ohio State or LSU.
Most notable to me:
Versus Penn State, Pitt was 0-10
Versus WVU, Pitt was 2-3
Versus Miami (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 1-5
Versus Va Tech (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 2-8
Versus Ga Tech (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 2-3
Versus Duke (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 2-5
Versus Virginia (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 3-4
Versus UNC (ACC Coastal), Pitt was 4-3
When you walk away from recruiting day with so few wins against your biggest rivals both out-of-conference and in-conference, there's not much optimism except for "we recruit characters blah blah blah." You're a character, Duzz!!!
Hello, your favorite Pitt fan here. Merry Christmas to most of you! Yea, Narduzzi has worn out his welcome at Pitt. His offensive coordinator is maybe the worst in all of college football, his DC isn’t much better. Nearly every staff member is atrocious starting with Tim Salem who is an embarrassment to the coaching profession. Pitt would be better off hiring the Pine Richland coaching staff, and I’m not kidding. Heather Lyke hit a home run hiring Jeff Capel and he will be great at Pitt until Coach K retires and Duke offers him 10 times what Pitt will pay. MAYBE she can hit another home run and hire another decent coach when Narduzzi gets fired in 2 years. Pitt replaces 4 on the O-Line, new running backs, a WR corps that serverly lacks talent, and needs a warm body at Tight End. I can’t see Pitt winning 3 games next year, which should be enough to get Narduzzi canned!

Not to mention a team full of players with LOTS of character. What WILL we do? Yikes, I just realized that we are likely doomed!
I'm no LionJim, but my math tells me pitt went 16-41 in those recruiting battles, or 0.281, 28.1%. How do we interpret that level of "success" for pitt? It must be the following:
* Only 28% of the kids pitt looked at have character. The remaining 72% lack character and therefore were rejected by nardoozie.
According to some investigative work done by sleuths at The Lair......all schools pay for 4 and 5 star recruits. Pitt prefers to eschew this nationwide practice.
They don’t have to. Everyone knows that kids that have character can’t be bought or bribed. They flock to Pitt for the great coaching, scenic beauty of Oakland and the constant intellectual and cultural events. At least Hairball takes his teams to Europe Duzz has barbecues and fires the equipment manager for not cleaning up.
Character recruiting just took another dive. I just checked the 247 recruiting site and Pitt has fallen off the first page, they are now ranked 51st.
