Well the Saints are pretty good

They are smoking teams right now. The defense is really stepping it up. Brees has thrown 1 pick and today was an off game for him with so many incompletions. They can run and pass. So much fun to watch, but I just hope they aren’t peaking to soon.

The Eagles are decimated by injuries on defense and their OL is banged up. They’re a shell of the team they were last year and losing Reich and Defilippo didn’t help the offense. At this point, I’m not sure they win another game with how bad their secondary is. The Giants will light them up with skill weapons next weekend. Wentz and Co will have to score lots of points to win.

Eagles Secondary is decimated. Stood little chance against Brees, especially as fast as he gets rid of the ball. Almost no chance for the DL to get pressure. Tough to explain away the offense. The Saints D outplayed them on every phase.

Josh McDaniels really screwed over the Eagles with the way that played out. If he just declined the job, the Eagles likely just lose Reich and DeFillipo is promoted to OC here and does not leave.
If he didn't back out, the Eagles just lose DeFillipo.

I think DeFillipo was set on leaving after the Eagles refused him the ability to interview for OC jobs the year before. He was a real pro about it, but I got the vibe he was upset with how the team handled that. At least he got a Super Bowl ring.
