Just spoke with someone close to 2023 DL Jalen Thompson and he just visited Ohio State yesterday. Now he isn’t 100% a take at OSU at the moment but I’m told there staff is looking into it now and if they give him the green light he will likely end up there.
He was also supposed to be at PSU this weekend, but that is no longer happening as he will instead check out Michigan State. As of now I’m not confident he ends up in State College until he actually makes it to campus. The good news is he plans on making a decision mid August so there is still some time to get him on campus.
Now on the bright side, we are hearing that Penn State is making a push for four-star DL Dylan Gooden out of Maryland. He is the son of former Mets pitcher Doc Gooden. Now he has some work to do off the field, but this could be a solid get for the Lions late in the process.
