Midway through Round Three - 21 players within three strokes of the lead.

Round Four tomorrow s/b wild!

Some terrific stories out there -- Spieth for the Slam, Oosthuizen to win 2 straight at St. Andrews, Day to recover from that vertigo and win this major. And then some amateur who was barely the best scorer on a non-top 25 college team leading the way. It'll be a great Monday of golf.

And I guess that wind was totally unfair to Dustin Johnson today.

Until further notice, Dustin Johnson is a pretender and a fraud. On a day when the field tore apart the Old Course, DJ throws in a 75 stinker and bogeys the final three holes. That is 100% due to the six inches between his ears, which is an echo chamber. There's nothing I hate more than to watch immense God-given talent get flushed right down the crapper.

To hell with him. Tomorrow anybody at nine or better has a chance. So many good guys I don't know who to root for - Day, Oostie, Jordan, Dunne. The Goose is loose. Maybe Leishman throws in another 64? He's red hot.

Going to be a fantastic finish. I'll be up at 6 for some TV, then switch to the radio on my way to Youngstown. Unless I feel a touch of the flu coming on!

Johnson absolutely blew it today...he had been playing so well too.
I'd love to see an old guy win...like Goosen or Harrington but if I was betting man I'd go with Speith.
