Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

Nashville, your posts on this thread are good ones. However, what I will say is that more often than not, at least in this country, fear of the other side is more prevalent among believers than the non-believers. To the point, can you honestly identify a group that experiences more discrimination than atheists? For instance, if you were an atheist would you feel comfortable broadcasting this as an employee in a corporate environment? Or, where does political correctness apply to this group? Doesn't. Just my take, and I would never begrudge anyone their beliefs or pass judgement on them in any way. Hope all enjoyed the Day.

I have no problem respecting anyone's right to choose their religion

I do not respect anyone that claims their religion is the absolute truth, as almost every religion has holy texts and centuries of martyrs who died for them. To claim any one of these religions is absolute and superior to any other fails the logic test. And they all fail it equally. By all means, believe what you wish. It makes no difference to me what religion anyone believes in until they try to judge me by it or shove it down my throat.

Not sure who is shoving anything down your throat? My advice to anyone on any thread, if you don't like the content ignore it
I do that all the time on threads on this board. I am certainly not claiming to have all the answers...that is why I call it my faith.

I saw a statement by someone yesterday (not sure where) but it stuck in my mind. It said something to the effect that, I refuse to believe that my God sacrificed himself on the Cross so that a family in Indiana could refuse to serve pizza at a gay couple's wedding. Anyway Happy Easter and may you and yours be safe in these interesting times.
