1. PSU middle linebackers step up and drop a running back for a 2 yd loss (insert POZ)
2. Hack throwing down the seam to one of our tight ends
3. Toss sweep with our running back hitting the corner with daylight
4. A defensive back hit like James Boyd
6. A defensive end coming off the corner and drilling the opposing QB (Tamba/Courtney like)
7. PSU scoring TD on the first drive and set the tone
8. PSU running back breaking a long run for a TD (yes not caught from behind)
9. PSU dominating some teams...
10. The PSU defense pitching a shut out....

Its just my list...all these things would make me smile...

57 Year-old Sharon Stone knocking on my door with a Bundt Cake in one hand, and a bottle of wine in the other.
And I don't even like Bundt cake.

A 52 yard field goal.
Lynch putting an Enis-like hit on a safety trying to make a tackle.
Scoring by running up the middle on first down from the 2 yard line out of the I formation.
Making more sacks than we give up.

Sorry to say, but we aren't going to see #6 for a couple more years. Not till Shane Simmons gets on campus.

How about our punter dropping a punt OoB inside the 10 instead of letting it hit at the 9 and bounce into the end-zone!?!?!?! Ala John Bruno.

How about a list of 10 things that actually has 10 things, instead of leaving a number out.
Or was that item censored?

I would like to see the wildcat put on a shelf forever.
(I think I am the only PSU fan remaining....who thinks that there IS a place for the wildcat in this offense.....though I do prefer that it be run out of the two-back set, ala the Belton/Lynch combo, rather than the Zwinak as a lone TB formation)

(ducks for cover)

there IS a place for the wildcat

Sorry, the wildcat and other mobile QB schemes exist to compensate for lack of true drop back passing ability. With Hack, and the potential of our other skill positions, we do not need to use the wildcat.

Actually ....the development of the wildcat was catalyzed by the desire to play "11 on 11" (or "10 on 10", whichever you prefer) with a non-mobile QB. Nothing to do with presence/lack of a "drop back QB".

Now, that doesn't mean anyone should love it or hate it....but that's the philosophy.

Once. Just once. Hack takes a 7 step dropback, surveys the field, has time to throw, and goes deep down the middle of the field for a completion.

Once. That's an upgrade over last year.

actually the Wildcat came in so the defense would have something else to worry about, totally opposite from what the O usually did. so now the D has to spent some of the limited prep time they have on learning how to defense a few plays, or maybe none at all, but they better be prepared!!!

with out offense, our time would be better spent learning fundamentals than learning wildcat stuff. I'd rather have the 10-15 minutes a day they spend on wildcat, going 1-1 with the D.
