Maybe I'm not close enough to the program to understand, but I think the response given to the complaint are direct and proper. Some people are not going to be able to properly withstand, mentally, the advice. However, to succeed in that profession you have to listen to the evaluation very carefully and you must adjust.
All of our student athletes go through very tough and frank evaluations. Every employee goes through evaluation. It is a part of life. You listen and adjust or you will be less successful in your profession or, in the case of our athletes, you will play very little.
This whole damned country is becoming more and more "snowflakey" because they want their life to be easier but themselves to be wealthier. It doesn't work that way. Their are other nations who are ready to challenge us for our position in the world and will put forth the effort to achieve such.
The future belongs to the nation that demands excellence and extra effort from their people. Much of what is going today is the "wussification" of America.
