The first national championship was probably the biggest but what other game was bigger? Maybe last year's win over OSU because it reestablished PSU as a premier team.

This game probably determines:
  • The B1G East
  • Barkley's Heisman chances
  • The final recruiting battles vs. OSU
  • That last year's win wasn't an upset

last week

Last week's game felt good but it wasn't nearly as important. PSU could have lost to UM and still won the B1G. It's extremely unlikely that PSU can win the B1G if they lose today.

Sorry, but this is the Narduzzi strategy. Then when things don't go your way, you lose your season because you made this game way bigger than it is. I really think Franklin does a great job of keeping the kids focused on just playing well against OSU and not worrying about all that other stuff.

I don't know about biggest since, but for me, it's feeling like the road game against Bama in 86. I have a feeling about this one. Everyone knows our defense is good. Think we might learn a little more today.
