Good kids. Talent. Increasingly impressive depth. A strong DC. Outstanding OC. A HC who know what he is doing, is highly organized, and is putting together terrific players who want to be part of HIS team. CJF has already put together an outstanding coaching staff, top to bottom. Last years player development and team spirit and great heart, shows they are capable of even more. In short, we are loaded.
Nothing about this team needs work. A little luck in the staying healthy category at a couple of key positions, would help, for sure. But the USS Penn State has been righted, the vessel has been repainted, repaired, and its new crew has it steaming ahead on course for what is likely a Top Ten finish. Again. And 2018-2019 look to be more of the same.
While perfection will be very tough to achieve, as it is always is for the handful of other outstanding teams who begin the year with similar hopes, lets just enjoy the cruise. Ya never know what our final port will be.
