With a number of early prognostications suggesting Gross-Matos could be a first round draft pick, I started to think what, if any, impact that could have on our recruiting. If YGM is one of the players talked about a lot this fall, along with our entire defense, it could pay real dividends with recruits both in the '20 class and especially in the '21 class. I know a lot of folks are disappointed, including myself, with the number of highly rated kids in our traditional recruiting area chooseing to go elsewhere or who appear to be favoring other programs over us but don't discount the impact a good year by our defense could have on some of the undecided kids. Just a thought.
