Omar said lawmakers “have a responsibility to conduct oversight over our government’s foreign policy and what happens with the millions of dollars we send in aid.”

A few points if a I may...
First, no country is obligated to bend to the will of Congress, even those which get foreign aid. If you don't like it then vote against foreign aid appropriations; otherwise, this looks like more grand-standing.
Second, what was initially a brilliant attempt at statecraft backfired when: 1) Tlaib and Omar (being the rookies that they are) let BDS write an itinerary devoid of meetings with the Israelis; and 2) when Tlaib refused Israel's humanitarian visit because it exposed her ulterior motive. She and Omar were going there to make trouble.
Lastly, what's this $hit about a vote of non confidence against the Israeli ambassador? If he's guilty of anything it's providing transparency in the negotiations. Is not sunlight the best disinfectant! You Democrats are deluded.
I thank you and let's keep it real.
