starting the game wide awake and on our game. The 1st quarter/ 1st half napping builds confidence in the other team, ESPECIALLY a double-digit dog.

Our Offense is BETTER than Boise's D. We have to come out SHARP, and put them in a HOLE early. Does that mean gimmick plays? Hell no. It means ramming it down their throat.

Think of the teams we played where we were godawful in the 1st Quarter. Against GOOD teams, you just cannot do that. I agree that if you gotta play badly, the 1st half is better than the 2d, but we do not have to nap through the first half.

You can be a 2d half team without stinking up the joint in the first half. If we lose in these playoffs, I am guessing we will have squandered our chances in the 1st half.

We’ve slow started ask year. SMU game looked better due to the pix but they moved the ball. I hope you are right. Gotta stuff Jeanty but we have a talent advantage overall

It would be nice, obviously, to dominate from the start, but that gets tougher as the opponents get better. Comebacks get tougher, too.

As you suggest, we can't count on 2 pick 6s in the 1st half. All of that gets tougher as the opponents get better.

A win means ND or GA. Both talented and deep but teams we can win against if we play well. This will be the last game where we are the favorite

Dem I agree slow starts have been an issue all year. I hope our players will do a better job controlling the "Juice" they will be feeling at the beginning, by making intelligent/smart football decisions eliminating the unsportsmanlike and defensive offsides penalties that have aided our opponents greatly in the start of other games. You agree?

Yes! The unsportsmanlike calls are just a f#cking GIVEAWAY to the other team, like a turnover, only intentional, so worse in many aspects. "Oh, I made a great play! Now let me F it up by mocking the other team."

Hand the ball to the goddamn ref. Celebrate afterwards.

Play like we did against Washington and put it away early. Then move on to whichever team is next.

tackle the rb

Need to score early and keep scoring so Boise State is forced to throw. This running back is special. We don’t want to get in a run first game with them. It doesn’t matter how much better we are than their other 10. He’s that good.
