Ben's final years are going to be wasted because the Rooney's can't see the obvious , that Tomlin
doesn't elevate the team when they need to be elevated. He does suck !

Maybe its me, but this team had a lot of injuries, Beechum, Bell, and Pouncey for majority of the season, Ben, Miller for multiple games, and Bryant suspended for 4. That is a lot.
I don't like Tomlin, but IMO it's pretty amazing that they are 9-6 and fighting for a playoff spot considering they had Landry Jones playing for a time.

The interceptions he threw were brutal and don't get me started on all the tackles he missed.

2 week in a row Tomlin's team has come out seemingly lethargic and ill prepared in must win games. That's what I have a problem with. If you keep coming out flat, its going to catch up with you, just like yesterday. Squarely on coach and team leadership. And we've had this problem with Tomlin's teams in year's past. Upsets happen, but can't let it happen when you have must win games.
Oh, and BTW, do we have to make every back up QB look like next coming of Joe Montana. What's with that? How many have we played this year? This guy yesterday, Mallett, was on the street and out of work 12 days ago for God's sake, had only completed 120 passes in his whole 7 year NFL career, and we let him complete 28. Haha that's a joke! (Side Note: I think Mallett's biggest play ever was 14 yard roll out for a TD against Morelli's Penn State team to beat us in Ann Arbor 14-10).
I'm almost afraid that even if Jet's lose next week, Steeler's could go up 30-0 in first half against Browns, and figuring they have it won, turn around let idiot rehab Johnny Football dance up and down the field on us to win the game!. I saw quote of old cliché this morning from one of the players, "we got to take a good look in the mirror". I'm so sick of hearing that in December. Maybe it's time to look at the coach, seriously.

Really did you watch Ben play yesterday ? Ben sucked too plenty of blame to spread it around to everyone.
If Tomlin did what Belichek did and kicked off in overtime people would be going crazy . Smart move by the leagues smartest coach.

I can't believe the criticism of Rothlisberger. He is one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL and a first ballot Hall of Famer.
I agree he's a top 5 right now, but I don't think he gets into the HOF on the 1st ballot. That may change if he wins another Super Bowl, and I do think he makes it eventually. This issue has been debated here before so I won't do so now. He certainly deserves criticism for his play yesterday. He tanked with a playoff berth on the line. Of course, so did just about the entire rest of the team.
I agree Ben's top notch. I wear #7 jersey. But he that doesn't discount the fact that he played lousy in a must win game, and was beaten by a no name QB. He even said he played poorly and "was off". Bad time to be off your game. Probably cost us playoffs. Just sayin. And those picks, just terrible. That one overturned in the endzone, yikes. I read Ravens had their safeties playing 20 yards off the ball and were giving us everything underneath. We just weren't taking it.

His off the field rape accusations certainly could hinder him. No sportswriter is gong to acknowledge that but it will be a factor IMO.
So does Jim Plunkett and he's not in. How about Eli Manning? Does he deserve to be a first ballot guy?
I'm sorry GLOV, but the good news, from what I've read, is that he was kicked off the team. In any event, I agree he'd be a better choice than Tomlin, even though he's been dead for 30 years.
