Interesting point, but until Kemerer gets some matches under his belt, he remains a bit of an unknown, like all freshman.Funny that Kemerer was listed as "149/157". Surely it is just a slip, as Sorensen is a fixture at 149.
But humor me for a minute . . . Suppose you are the coach, and you feel like Kemerer is just as likely to secure 2nd place at 149 as is Sorensen. Do you flip the weights if you think Sorensen is a safer bet to place 2nd at 157 than Kemerer? Sorensen is a big 149 and could conceivably bump up, but I have no idea whether Kemerer is too big to cut to 149. He is still listed on the roster as "149".
Assuming either guy can make either weight with the same degree of ease/difficulty, I think it's probably a wash. Both weight classes are similarly top-heavy and thin after the fourth AA slot. Both classes have immovable objects at the very top. Since you already know the likely outcome of Zain Sorensen, maybe you take the unknown and hope he'd match up better against Nolf. I think Nolf would bonus Sorensen but at least there's hope in exploring the unknown.Funny that Kemerer was listed as "149/157". Surely it is just a slip, as Sorensen is a fixture at 149.

Both wrestled 70kg (154.3 lb) at University Nationals back in June. Sorenson beat Kemerer 4-1 in semifinals. Maybe this resulted in some speculation regarding where both could wrestle.Funny that Kemerer was listed as "149/157". Surely it is just a slip, as Sorensen is a fixture at 149.
