Tonight on BTN at 7 MBB PSU at Rutgers. Should be a good chance for a win.

Reaves was credited with 2 steals and 3 blocks tonight. I’m calling BS on the Rutgers statistician.

Reaves now only 11 steals behind Ron Brown's career record with at least 2 games left.

Brown set the record in three years in the early '70s when freshmen were not eligible.

The endless rooting is OK when we win. I get it. We're the pariah, apparently forever. The jovial rooting from these guys was hard to take but unbelievably Penn State won the game.

I've heard of blue goggles but I guess some of you have blue hearing aids too.

I watched it. I heard "This was a travel on PSU." "This should have been a foul." "How did they get away with this." No matter, Rutgers lost at home to a dog. They can make it as colorful as they want. PSU won. :)

And your selective, i.e. blue, hearing didn't hear the Rutgers criticisms. There were just as many. BTW, PSU was the favorite.

Who is this wheeler character? Every time I look at a box score he plays a ton of minutes with zero points....!??!

Wheeler is awesome. I wish there was a place where I could view a plus/minus stat for him. He makes them better as a team because of all the little things he does. Once his minutes went up, they started playing better. I just hope he can develop a little offensive game to go with everything else he does.

The real key to your first half was Watkins, even though some here criticize him. The risk of aggressive on ball defense is having the offensive player get by you and to the rim. When your perimeter defenders were playing hyper aggressive, the RU guards were sometimes turning the corner on them, but had their shots altered, and occasionally were so intimidated they just turned back after having penetrated. Your guards could not have played that way in the first half without Watkins back there.

I think it moved.

Best you can probably do - last three columns:

OBPM - player's offensive plus/minus number compared to an average player normalized to 100 possessions
DBPM - player's defensive plus/minus number compared to an average player normalized to 100 possessions
BPM - the net of the above two.
