Many rank ath. Derrick Davis [6-0,175] from Monroeville Gateway High School as the No. 1 prospect in Pennsylvania's class of 2021 at this early stage in the recruiting process. Davis already has scholarship offers from Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio State, and Baylor among his nine scholarship offers.

Now another member of Pennsylvania's class of 2021 appears to have entered the national recruiting radar screen. That player's name is LB/RB Devyn Clair [6-1, 220]. If that name sounds familiar to Penn State football fans there is a good reason for that. He is the son of former Penn State DT Eric Clair.

Last fall during his freshman season at Elizabethtown High School Clair was named a first team Lancaster-Lebanon Section Two performer registering 100 tackles, 19 tackles for loss [TFL] for 92 yards and eight sacks. Clair also forced five fumbles and recovered three fumbles. He also was Elizabethtown's leading rusher with 719 yards and eight TDs. Rutgers and Syracuse are reportedly close to offering and Penn State reportedly has already been in contact along with a group of other Big Ten, AAC and ACC schools.

In January Clair transferred to Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt and is projected to be the starting MLB for Bishop McDevitt for the upcoming 2018 season.
