I didn't like the new format but I figured I'd give it a chance. Since it came in I've posted more than I ever did before with the hopes that I would grow to like it and that some of the old timers who left, or post less often, would return as before. That has not happened. I am really tempted to take a leave of absence until football season or, more likely, cut way back. It's day to day with me.

not much I can add here... othar than share the acute disappointment I get each time I visit the board... old format was like a bar and I could just pop in from time-to-time, scan the room and see what everyone was up to very quickly - and easily monitor/even contribute to any hijynx... now we have little more than a gymnasium with tents... everyone is in the tents... Now I'm supposed to wander around and peek into every tent to figure out if there's anyting interesting...

there could be interesting tangents going out there - but damned if I know... aged/stale topics with 50+ replies that keep getting bumped to the top - hell there may be some funny things happening within but probably not... I don't wanna open up the topic and sniff around... assinine for me to even be here to bitch about it... just clinging to old ways
