I only watched the first half so my comments are based only on that.
First, I thought McSorely rushed things too much after he got smacked on that fumble. He didn't seem comfortable in the pocket. First drive, I thought he did well.
From my perspective, if you had Johnny Unitas or Bart Starr playing for the cardinals last night behind that offensive line, they might both be in the hospital today. It sure seemed to me that by time the ball got to mcsorley and he raised his arm to throw the defense was on him. They couldn't play any kind of passing game beyond 8-10 yards, not enough time to pass.
Not saying McSorley is a starter in the NFL. He certainly wasn't any worse than Wilson (either one), and watching foles tonight, he's not lighting things up either.
My wife told me she read that McSorley will start again next week. Maybe last night's experience will help him. In fairness, there have been quite a few games this year where Tampa Bay defense has held the opponent to 16 points or less. So last nights offensive production by the cardinals was not necessarily an abomination.
