News reports published today are indicating that Trump has demanded a tenfold increase in the number of U.S. nuclear weapons. This apparently stems from a briefing Trump received from military brass this last summer concerning nuclear stockpiles and efforts to reduce the number of nuclear weapons. Efforts that began with treaties like SALT and START. He apparently did not understand the concept of trying to reverse the tide of nuclear proliferation, both here and abroad, because the advisers in the room when he made that demand were all reportedly "stunned." LOL. You can't fix stupid.
