Tuttle to Michigan, what was that again how no qb would transfer to sit?

Isn’t that the kid that we ripped until he was benched? He 23 years old. I’ll go with our young QBs to back up Allar. Kid is probably counting in the starter to get hurt and he’ll play behind a good line. As I recall he’sa pocketQB and doesn’t run much

Drew Allar just went down in Columbus. 2nd quarter. Penn State leads 14-3.

You have 2 choices: Jack Tuttle or Beau Pribula.

Go. And justify it.

If fanboys are consistent.....Pribula. We already know what we have in Tuttle. How old is he? Booooooooo

That is all I was looking for. Thoughts on who should go, and why...

I have no horse in the race, but fully support a qb in the portal. If the staff doesn't feel it necessary or can't find a fit I'm good with that also.

But the argument that no qb portals to sit, has been proven wrong.

No. Further. Message.

Here's a fact. I don't care. Because if Allar goes down for the season.....PSU isn't winning 10-11 games....perhaps not even 9. Why be stressed over a portal QB that has failed at his other stop(s)?
Also, please explain Pribula's incentive to stay if you push him down to 3rd string again?
So, what does PSU gain by bringing in a portal QB, if PB might get pissed and leave.

So let's be clear, we're looking for a transfer willing to be 3rd string insurance. Hard sell.

I think both Warren and DeLuca played QB in HS. I'd try them first in an emergency before Tuttle.

Pribula no doubt.

My justification is Tuttle is a very, very, very, ****ing very terrible qb.

I’d rather put Roberson in…better yet I’d rather see Sal Wormly takes snaps

Pribula won't be the #2 when the season starts, he'll be #3 behind Jaxon Smolick. We would be wise to pick up a player like Tuttle to play a backup role. He would be far better suited to the offense than Pribula who is a square peg in a round hole.

Since you seem to be such a big fan of Harbaugh, please explain his recruiting after two straight CFP appearances. Can you explain to the Michigan fan why he is being out recruited by a longshot by Day, whom he has beat two years in a row, and by Mr. Franklin. And has to rely so heavily on the transfer portal. Go.

Most IU and UM people say he knows he won’t be going to the NFL, wants an UM MBA, and seeks to one day coach. Between UM and NIL money he is getting might be $10k?
Absolutely correct. It’s the power of the degree which pushed him to scUM. Nevertheless, he’s a perfect backup and practice QB which is what PSU desperately needs otherwise it could be 2021 all over again. Pribs and Smolik are not the answers. Hopefully Franklion has learned his lesson.

Franklin has a track record of no learning from his mistakes.

Both teams have had higher recruiting rankings the last couple years. Congratulations, I guess?

So now we should pick up a transfer QB who’s going to be fourth string….yeah, good luck with that and do you know what skill level we would be able to get….about Roberson’s level, so that’s a no win situation.

Levis was, Stevens was, Veilleiux was….so why wouldn’t he be? Maybe it was just Roberson….you know, players do have something to do with it.
Funny, Levis, Stevens and CV were round pegs in round holes in the offenses they were playing in. Roberson was the quintessential square peg in the round hole and given how favorably Pribula's skillset compares to Roberson, what does that say?

I like what I saw on Pribula's high school tape. It seems we have either recruited QBs with a strong arm and stiff back or vice versa. Beau seems to have the mobility and the arm. In either case, it's too early to project his playing performance. At the same time, I don't think there's any shame or downside in transferring to a school with great academics to likely be a backup. Indiana has a highly ranked MBA program as well. It's too early to project the current Michigan QB as a four year starter and Heisman finalist. Harbaugh has had as much or more QB shuffling as any other major program. He's seemed to find a good mix of line play and good RBs with QBs that play within that system. How long he can keep that going remains to be seen.

Not being able to get the snap off had nothing to do with the system. He was a deer in the headlights and it wouldn’t have made a damn bit of difference what kind of “system” he was in. He choked, plain and simple and to blame anyone but the player in that situation is just ludicrous. He didn’t have that problem against Ball State or Villanova….did they change their system for those games?

Thanks Nostradamus. Any recommendations for stocks I should buy before the end of the year?

Who knows. I do know he is beating penn state AND Ohio State on the field like a drum.
