What? They had like two free throws in second half.Missing a bunch of critical FTs didn’t help
Harrar missed a few and sessoms missed one right before the tying buzzer beater. That’s what. I said critical ones not a huge amount in general. What? They had like two free throws in second half.
At least your not whining about first half misses.Guys came up big in 2OT. Dread made 2 “critical“ FTs.
A very clutch three as wellGuys came up big in 2OT. Dread made 2 “critical“ FTs. Make that 4. Team FT percentage actually ended up ok.
Apparently that’s a job requirement for Iowa coaches.Iowa was lucky to get it in OT to begin with. Glad we earned the W. Also their coach Fran Mccaffery is incredibly annoying. Did you see him cursing up a storm at the clock operator for whatever it was. This was after the problem had been identified and was being corrected. What a putz.
At least he didnt take his shoe off!!!Apparently that’s a job requirement for Iowa coaches.
On your last point that Andy Katz is abysmal. First time I have watched a game with him commentating. Hopefully the last.A great win.
I am confused about the rules our player is driven into the stanchion on a break . No foul is called player is hurt play continues 5 on 4.
Mcafferty has arm problem officials stop game. No Iowa time out.
Later Iowa player has ankle problem with live ball official stops game.
Is there a difference in ruling on what injured player is on court?
Also Big Ten announcers were terrible
The officials probably didn't realize a PSU player was hurt because the fans weren't booing, like they do in Iowa.A great win.

'I occasional ran the clock for my kids grade school BB league. it sucked, I sucked. I would never ever want to run the clock in college or pro games especially now when they have instant replay and officals are adding 0.4 second on to the clock.Iowa was lucky to get it in OT to begin with. Shrews has the boys competing…mucho kudos! Was very happy for the team and coach to get that big win! They have to be one of the toughest average teams to play when at HV. There is no quit in this team. That bodes well for the future. And I agree first time I heard Katz announce. Way more annoying than his pregame and halftime shows. He was drooling over how great mcry is and how wonderful it is to have his sons and another set of brothers in the team. At one point he said those 4 could take the court and go against 5 almost anywhere. Wtf
It's not an easy job but they did a terrible job this past game. Almost hurt PSU as they ran an inbounds play out of the timeout but the clock started early and they had to do it again. Some mistakes are understandable. End of game adjustments to add or subtract a couple tenths are no big deal. The ones in the Iowa game can't happen.'I occasional ran the clock for my kids grade school BB league. it sucked, I sucked. I wish he was in Carver last Friday night to bitch at Iowa’s own clock operator trying to screw over Starocci.Iowa was lucky to get it in OT to begin with. Glad we earned the W. I was a GA for a D3 hoops program a long time ago and I could put up with the poor shot/game clock work and bad stats because it was normally football players making $5/hr via work study doing it. But for PSU to have issues regularly is an problem. With regard to the stat issue I brought up, it stinks when your 'official' stat keeper regularly misses things like a rebound you had control of before being fouled or using their discretion to call something an assist or not. The assist rules for the NCAA are ridiculous by the way if any of you ever wanted to look them up.It's not an easy job but they did a terrible job this past game. The officials don't stop the game for injury unless it is a dead ball or the it is an offensive player that is injured.I am confused about the rules our player is driven into the stanchion on a break . No foul is called player is hurt play continues 5 on 4.
