Twitter: Do you think David Taylor has filled into his body frame

The strength difference can be seen in DT's results too. When he first started wrestling freestyle he could get takedowns easily enough but couldn't turn anyone. Now he tilts even top tier guys, usually with the help of an arm bar.

DT's progression from folk to freestyle is a good lesson for D1 guys wanting to make that transition on the amount of work you need to put in and address holes in your style. Some guys styles and body types lend themselves more naturally to freestyle (Dake) and probably don't need to change things up much, but what DT has done is amazing because he's a completely different wrestler.

Wow on the 35 pull-ups w/ a 35-lb weight

Back in the day, I felt pretty good about being able to do 15 to 16 pull-ups (maybe 18 chin-ups), and do them w/o swinging. And never attached an additional weight.

All well and good, but I know that the anatomical picture that you posted is NOT David Taylor, so it's not accurate.

How do I know that? Look at the obvious hairstyle difference.

I'm 50% of the way there. I have the 35 pound extra weight around me all the time. Now, I need to work up to the 35 pull ups. I'm at 4.

It's good to see that world class athletes are still using body weight exercises for strength and endurance training these days.

Due to my age, that's all that I do these days, and I still get a lot of benefit out of it.

Try a one-arm pull up without the support of your other arm. Very difficult. A good challenge for folks in the wrestling room and elsewhere.

Hang for $100 for 100 Seconds is becoming a popular challenge on youtube. People think it's easy, but they use a spinning bar which makes it really difficult. Plenty of videos on youtube about it.
