Greatest performance by a TE in a single game I’ve ever witnessed. Anyone recall a player that snapped the ball and caught a touchdown pass in the same play?
I’m 66 and have a decent memory of Kwalick. He was a fantastic tight end, especially for his size, but I don’t think he ever topped 230lbs when he was playing at PSU.
His point is--the position is drastically different today. When comparing Ted to Kyle and Tyler he's not going to win many arguments.
It's absolutely difficult--that way when determining things like the greatest QB of all time you have to take into account the eras.
