Tyler Warren surpassing Ted Kwalick as Penn State's greatest all-time TE?

Disagree in that NO ONE PSU has EVER had blocked like Brady.
True, but for all around play, Warren blows him away. Brady had 27 total catches his senior year, for example. The primary role of a TE is to catch the ball and threaten the middle of the defense. I didn’t mean he was superior in every single facet.

Greatest performance by a TE in a single game I’ve ever witnessed. Anyone recall a player that snapped the ball and caught a touchdown pass in the same play?

Had an amazing time at the game yesterday. USC People around us were going out of their minds with Warren’s performance. Headed off shortly to an Eagles bar in Hollywood to watch the game. Go Birds!

Warren is great by today's use of TE, but Kwalick was a two time All American. GOAT depends on time and how a player is used.

I’m 66 and have a decent memory of Kwalick. He was a fantastic tight end, especially for his size, but I don’t think he ever topped 230lbs when he was playing at PSU.

They are different animals from a different era. Hard to compare the two.
It's absolutely difficult--that way when determining things like the greatest QB of all time you have to take into account the eras.
It even becomes difficult when comparing Kyle Brady vs Tyler Warren because the game is completely different now

Tyler Warren surpassing Ted Kwalick, Kyle Brady, Mike Gesicki, Pat Freiermuth, etc., as Penn State's greatest all-time TE?
Interesting Kwalick story. His hands are twice the size of most men. He once picked up his date by her head at a Sogma Pi party and she loved the prank. I think she was a gymnist. The next term, Paterno moved him into the home of a coach. It was either OHara or Patrick. It was obviously successful as Ted had a great career and had a successful business career. As freshmen, he and Spaziani were close friends.
