As I said earlier, scUM is no "shoo-in" to beat Indiana as Speight may well have suffered a separated-shoulder (or partially separated-shoulded - what is known as a "shoulder sprain") in the Iowa game. Here is a link to Detroit Free Press' report on the topic - HIT THE LINK, but this report doesn't even capture it entirely. The report talks about the fact the Speight came in and played in scUM's final 3-&-out prior to Iowa's FG drive, but it doesn't mention that Speight got hit by a blitzing Iowa defender on the failed 3rd Down throw and was clutching his non-throwing arm as if it were dislocated and he could barely move it (i.e., he was holding it against his body with his right hand/arm) - the shoulder was hurt earlier when Speight was driven into the ground on his non-throwing (i.e., left) shoulder, but on the last 3rd Down he was hit directly on the injured shoulder (the blitzing Iowa LB was coming from Speight's "blind side" - i.e., Speight's left side) and he really got drilled and looked in severe pain after the play while leaving the field.
Personally, I think it is extremely doubtful that Speight plays next week given the way he looked while leaving the field after scUM's last play, the failed 3rd Down pass (the camera shot a close up of Speight leaving the field after being hit and he was clearly in severe pain, holding his left arm against his body and looked like somebody who just suffered a seperated shoulder which makes it so you are completely unable to move your arm and you hold it with your good arm.).
