...isn't much more than home-field advantage for IU. Personally, I think is being vastly over-rated by the BTN babbling-heads.....they've lost 4 times including to Wake Forest and Northwestern; and statistically, their defense is not nearly as good as advertised by the BTN babbling-heads - their defense is "okay" (9th in conference in scoring and total defense), but far from great or dominating.
Speaking of defense, PurDon't has the worst defense in the league in terms of Total Defense and is 13th of 14 in Scoring Defense - only better than Buttgers. IOW, as "road tests" go, PurDon't isn't exactly the stiffest, especially given that PSU understands that they have no margin for error and is, if anything, hungrier not less hungry after the big daO$U win and the national attention it gained.
