I feel like Gattis at Michigan is a 1 year stop. If the O truly transforms and has a huge uptick in stats (let's say +10 ppg, +125 passing yards per game), somebody offers him a HC job and he bolts. If the O fails or flounders, he winds up taking the blame for it and bolts, either because Harbaugh wants his style back or because Gattis parlays the Harbaugh thing into another job as to not hurt his stock.
I don't think it matters. Gattis would have left after one season in my book.
By offering the link and nothing else, you are giving the UM beat free clicks. It sure doesnt hurt their advertising dollars.

So, they are going back to elements of the spread. This sounds a lot like when Rodriguez was there! That worked out well - hey coach Gattis, bring back the Rich Rod offense.
