Please take this opportunity to remember that Penn State has a culture problem.
As long as the ex-coach threatened non-athletes also with "cutting off clits" and "raping grandmothers", then it's not an NCAA violation. That's the UNC precedent.
Emmert got his pound if flesh from PSU and it almost cost him. He'll be very reluctant to do something like that again (UNC, MSU).

Ok. So being a crook isnt easy...
He had a lot of support in what he did re PSU, but he had authority to act unilaterally and his choices were his alone. Kind of you not to judge, but I can’t extend that same courtesy in this case.
This POS Emmert is coated with teflon. He somehow commands major coin wherever he's at, then skates out of town just ahead of the posse. I hope the f^cker ages 50 years and suffers from major intestinal distress, since he is chronically full of sh*t.

Coach Carter apparently prefers VERY large women. Nothing wrong with that, but it would be interesting to view his former lovers versus his alleged object du jour. [For the record, Coach Carter is a large man]
I have not read one bit of testimony... I cannot comment on anything other than the visual of the accuser and her BF roomie.
But since it was a jury trial, I'm sure they got it right..............

Was there any testimony in this case besides the girls? [Article I read seemed to focus on the $$ aspect and not testimony]. Is there audio or visual affirmation? After what just happened with the cop and the drunk chick who accused him of all kinds of sexual harassment and assault (and was refuted on videotape for all the world to see), I want more than he said, she said.
And again, if there has been a systemic pattern of such, i'm willing to accept that kind of testimony a little more willingly... and drop the onus on the coach to prove innocence.

I believe he coached shot put etc, re your comment above. He acknowledged his evil actions in one courtroom scene. The abuse of power, in its myriad forms, is the greatest evil in life IMO.
Thank you. I guess I get confused when a guy admits guilt and his lawyers keep appealing anyway (and I got the part about how they're on a money train so why not).
