I'm very happy to say that 2 days ago, a defibrillator was implanted in my father and he was released from Hershey Medical Center yesterday. The doctors were concerned about the riskiness involved with bypass surgery at this time, and decided to treat with medication and the defibrillator implant. He's now at home, just in time to cheer on the Nittany Lions against the Gophers from his own living room.
I wish to thank all of you for your well wishes and especially your prayers for my dad and my family. They were surely heard.
This board can be a very argumentative place at times, but when it comes to real life events that touch people personally, the people here are all first rate.
