He’s qualified for the challenge tournament by his U20 medal last year.
74kg QF- Joe Sealey vs. Chase Van Hoven (LDW)
Period 1:
Cody & Cael, I think, are in Joe's corner. Van Hoven gets a quick front headlock & takes Joe to the mat, but can't do anything else. Stalemate & restart. Van Hoven gets another quick front headlock. Joe pops out, then tries to come behind, but it's another stalemate. Joe presses forward off the whistle. Van Hoven drops to both knees, then gets a passivity warning. Tying up & going up & down from the knees. Van Hoven gets a bodylock. Joe fights out of it & takes Van Hoven out, 1-0. Joe pushes forward again & gets another step out point, 2-0. Back to neutral. Duke is just absolutely scary good. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a high schooler like him. He is just so powerful. Absolutely manhandles really really good opponents. Gaj is legit and Duke didn’t break a sweat.

Henckel presses forward. Cressell circles back to center. Henckel tries a slide by, but no luck. Hand fighting & circling. Cressell gets to a leg. I’m so impressed with Henckel. He’s going to be in the PSU lineup at some point. I’m not sure what weight or who he beats but he’s going to be an absolute monster. Kid just keeps improving every time out. He’s just demolishing everyone this tournament
