Nico will crush him in freestyle....If he grabs ankles he will end up giving up back points. Also think Zain and Nolf will take over !!!! They are on a completley different level. Taylor may pin Dean...Don't think the match will be close....Bo beat him....
Think this is the year Dake breaks through and beats Burroughs. He has looked fantastic since going back down to 74 and Jordan won't be sitting out until the finals.
Also think this is the year DT gets a world medal, very possibly Gold.
Delgado's style is a big liability in freestyle. I'm sure he has tried to adjust but with the way Nico can get to his legs, will be very surprised if Mega does't beat him.

Yeah, I'll be shocked if Taylor and Nico don't win those two matchups, and would say Taylor is at least 50/50 to finish the job early.
Yea, Dean isn't ready for the level Taylor has reached in Free, just keeping it real.
I just can't believe they'd neglect to mention a potential top 10 86 kg matchup at a US event. It seems so obvious to me.

Hall is going for another Junior title but man I'd like to see him throw his hat in the senior ring. I think he would get beat pretty bad by the top tier guys at 74 but what a way to see where you are and what you need to do to achieve your goals. Dake-Burroughs- and Deringer what an education.
I think Cox is taking time off to focus on football. He wants to play for Missouri next season and might be participating in spring practice with the team.
I had read that, not sure how much credence to put into it. Wanting to and making the transition are two different things, but he is a multi-talented individual.
Too bad we won't see another Zain v L Steiber match as we did at the OTT least spring.
Zain destroyed James Green last year, so you would have to like Nolf's chances.
However, the Zain/Green match was at 65kg. Which may have been too big of a cut for Green, who has had great success at 70kg.

James Green at 65kg looked terrible in everything he competed in, he couldn't handle the cut effectively. You can't really use that as a measuring stick for 70kilos. Not saying Nolf can't win but he was a much worse wrestler at 65
2 years ago true frosh Nolf gave Green all he could handle in the Scuffle finals. Nolf is so much better now I'd be shocked if he didn't handle Green. Of course, I've been shocked before.
Really looking forward to a potential Nolf Green rematch. At the Scuffle two+ years ago I don't think Nolf was strong enough to convert when he got in on Green's legs. Green has great hips. I also think Green got tired late. That was folk so match probably won't go the same but Green will be a good benchmark for Nolf because on paper at least Nolf is much improved from his redshirt season.
What's your evidence for that claim? I'm pretty skeptical of the assertion. Nico is much older, more experienced, and has a wider range of both attacks and defense. He has been working solely on freestyle for the last year while Suriano has been focused on folkstyle and has also been injured.

I'm trying to imagine seeing those guys across the mat and having confidence that things are going to work out for me. This is probably a way to understand how tough Dake has been and how tough J'den Cox will have to be.Posted by DT today...
