IMHO Ohio State has earned it. With few exceptions, they've been good/really good since we joined the B1G. Michigan is the one that's a joke. Frankly, if I were an OSU fan I'd resent Michigan always being mentioned with my team. The 2 haven't been close but it's always "Ohio State and Michigan" as if they're peers.

Ohio State and Alabama have really been at a different level in the 21st century then every other program. So they deserve some lifetime achievement type consideration. But when you look at what Michigan has done (really not done), I am confused as to why they keep getting this amount of hype. Both over the past decade and over the last 50 years. Other than winning a lot of games, their national championships (or lack thereof), undefeated seasons, bowl records, etc...are not that of a super power.

Say what?? UM has proven they belong. They have half a national championship in the past 60 years. They've won a share of the B1G title as recently as 2004. That's 13 short years ago.

PSU has two MNCs in the past 35 years and has won three B1G titles since UM won their last. Michigan State and Wisconsin also have three since then. OSU has six. Four teams can't always carry the conference. Someone else needs to step up occasionally.
