1300 points got row 11, upper deck (300 level) around 40 on Penn State side. If anybody with lower level tix for Orange Bowl from NLC doesn’t mind sharing their points, I’d have an idea of how close or far we are after 40 years of donating. Granted, it was minimum until past six years after paying my own school loans, raising kids and paying PSU and post college tuition for them.

Wonder how many lower 100 and 200 tix PSU got from Orange bowl? It’s not a big deal- I enjoy game from every vantage.Also it’s amazing how much better tix you can get from Stubhub than PSU for these things but at much higher prices.

When we went to Madison, we got row 1 tix 50 yd line behind PSU bench for 200 from
Stubhub and was much better than getting from NLC– there were many other PSU fans there too. This game will be epic— hope Penn State Whiteout magic happens!!

1600 and ended up in the lower bowl, but in the end zone. Now, I requested 6 Club seats (and got 6) and I know they are restricted to assigning in PSU sections, but now I understand unless you want to make sure you are in the official PSU section, going thru the NLC is not optimal….

FWIW a friend with 485 NLC POINTS got lower level 35 yard line row 32 FIESTA Bowl, while another friend with 581 points got row 24 same section.

With 1362 NLC points, requested 4 tickets for the grandkids.....
Gave us Section 317, Row 12 at the top of the stadium on the PSU side.
Bottom line, unless you are a large donor to the NLC, kiss your points goodbye in receiving lower than upper tier seating.

Interesting story from a Texas alum.

She bought orange bowl tix thru their aa, and of course the stadium ended up half full. Paid 2x for worse tix than available on secondary markets. Now, for the upcoming game at Jerry world, as is saying no tix available. Apparently lots of pissed alumni.

Negative effect onUniversities ability to leverage bowl ticket distribution with their alumni could be an unforeseen consequence of the new cfp system.
