As discussed in another thread, video streaming of multiple mats for the Keystone Classic will be available on the "for pay ($$$)" subscription service of ESPN+. There is, as was also mentioned, a 7-day free trail period to use the service.
I would present the following "tips" (for an iOS device) to you after going through the process today to set it up on my iPad.
Well, I am in no way, shape, or form, a technologist... so that is likely as helpful as I can be, but I have a feeling since this ESPN+ is new to us wrestling fans, this thread could be used to post other helpful things... like being able to quickly change from mat to mat on Sunday, or even if multiple mat viewing is possible. I do not currently have those answers.
Lastly, this was again for iOS Apple device... I will next try it on my laptop to see if that is similarly complex or if multiple screens is a potential there. Hopefully I'll have a follow up post on that. If others also have learnings, please share.
Sorry this post is so long.
I would present the following "tips" (for an iOS device) to you after going through the process today to set it up on my iPad.
1. Do not wait until 9.55am on Sunday to do it... it will not be instantaneous if you are a new user
2. You'll need to download the "ESPN" app to your device (Nota bene: this is not the same as WatchESPN app as I learned this morning)
3. You'll likely need to know your Apple ID (if Apple device) & password... hopefully you know that (sorry, not an Android user, someone else will have to help with those tips)
4. Once ESPN app is installed, you will need to subscribe to ESPN+. This is where things got tricky for me. I subscribed to the 7-day free trail and it told me I had successfully subscribed to ESPN+; however, when I went to test play an earlier match (Michigan vs. Central Mich), it kept coming up asking if I wanted the free or $4.99/mo subscription... every time I chose "free" it said I was successfully subscribed, but would not play the video. Not until I also chose the $4.99/mo subscription did it allow the video to begin streaming (quite clearly and flawlessly).
Bottomline, it looks like you'll likely need to subscribe to both, then you can go in an "manage" your subscriptions to cancel it (if you don't want it) before the end of the 7 days.
5. I tried to filter out on the schedule by sport to narrow in on the Wrestling, but wrestling is NOT a filter... most effective that I found to-date was to just search for "Wrestling"
