Ok so I'm watching the match on Flo after an afternoon of family commitments. SIAP in the match thread.

Anyway, did Verk walk on to 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'? I couldn't tell If it's a Flo thing or If this is Verk's song. If so it's already a classic! Love it!

I was impressed with the choice of Lion Sleeps Tonight and was surprised anyone 20 +/- years old would know that song. Of course, it might've been the only song most of the Rec Hall crowd recognized (along with Cenzo's CCR number, I guess).

That song would have extra meaning if played during a high speed, traffic weaving, lunatic taxi ride to the airport or train station.

Not that this happened to my wife and me. Definitely not in Prague.

For years, when the Gophers started this thing, I always said that someone, like me, HAS TO use this gem as his walk out song, all the while playing the part of Adorable Adrian Adonis as he walks out. Watching the enraged homophobia would be the best comedy that this jerk could envision!
