VIDEO: Anthony Cassar rehab seems to be going well...

Hopefully he can get back to 100%. Based on the fact he had no sling and he's working it now, looks promising. I know he didn't need surgery but definitely makes sense that he had to just take time off from live wrestling to get it fully healed.

I want nothing more than for him to beat Dom Bradley should they meet again.

I thought Cael said in an interview that Cassar dropped his grad classes when he hurt his shoulder.

He’s just focused on OTT. Sorry.

I would love to see him pick up Cass like a sack of wheat and plant him somewhere in Jersey at bigs.
It's kind of a bummer that Cael had to immediately squash that juicy rumor that Gibbons and Johnson spread to around 350k people during the Iowa dual. That combined with this video of him working out could have made for some entertaining posts/threads for the next couple of weeks.

He isn't do curls or anything that is isolating a particular muscle. He is using a broad array of muscles in that exercise movement

Exactly.

To my amateur eye, he’s mimicking more of a dynamic kettlebell hang clean, rather than a strict curl.
(But using dumbbells instead of kettlebells, and engaging the hips/lower torso/ hamstrings for explosion)

Just a quick guess.

Works for me.
My buddy and I do what I call half cleans. We use a barbell, but it looks like the same movement. It works a shit load of muscles as well as some cardio.

I would call it a hang power clean with dumbbells crossift style. As long as he is properly hinging, some momentum is not going to hurt him. He starts each move from a hinge.

It’s been a while since I’ve lifted free weights, but I recall that you aren’t supposed to use momentum. Pointing this out does mean I think I could take him.

Momentum and cheat reps, in moderation, are very useful. Particularly on the biceps, which are not a very large muscle. The bend is getting his legs, core, upper and lower back involved.

Yeah the guy behind him using the ball is working it to that shit is rough
