As you probably guessed, the contract talks weren't elaborated on too much from either James Franklin or Sandy Barbour yesterday, but Franklin did have some interesting things to share about the status of what he's pushing for.
Sandy said later that all of the major terms had been agreed upon right off the bat for a contract extension, but that they were just working out the minor details at the end and have been, but no one is worried about a timeline on any of that.
I'm going to do some reading between the lines here, but given the context of what Franklin talked about in the clip above, it sounds to me like he's pushing to see facilities improvements as part of the conditions. He talked about 60 percent of the Lasch building having not been touched in the recent renovations, and how much work is still needed.
I'll have more on this a bit later today, but I just wanted to get this posted for you guys to start the conversation.
