Well that just got him uninvited to the homecoming parade.
Wow...that's great...thanks Jared. He really hit the nail on the head, didn't get sucked into minutia, and articulated his thoughts very well.
We all need to speak out at appropriate opportunities, today...tomorrow...forever. We need to correct the many mistakes in the public narrative in a thoughtful and intelligent way, making every effort to win converts to our side. Many won't listen. Others will listen but not care. Some though, with open minds, will hear the message and understand. Perhaps, over time, if enough understand, Penn State and Joe Paterno will regain a measure of the respect they once had before our Board of Trustees threw it all away.
Thank goodness for alums like Jared, who have more guts in their little finger than the old guard BoT members have collectively.
Pretty soon Amaeche will be given the opportunity for a rebuttal.
Look for that at Schwab Auditorium. "An Evening With the Legendary John Amechi." The ad will read:

I would like to see prominent alumni like Odrick call out our POS non elected BOT, that may be the only way to get rid of some of those people. Imo, the BOT is #1 to blame for the entire debacle.
Let's hope other psu letterman continue to do this as well and never stop
