LOL given a recent poll which says only 24% of Democrats support abolishing ICE and yet here’s Cynthia Nixon, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Rep. Mark Pocan, Sen. Pocahontas Warren and Alexandria Occasional-Cortex out there on the stump, advocating just that. Now you tell me which party is in disarray.
Regarding this recent dust up over Trump supporters ‘dissing’ McCain, presumably because he was bipartisan and Democrats like him. Where was that Democratic support for McCain in the 2008 election? According to exit polls he garnered only 10% of the Democratic vote. Moreover, based on his congressional record he scores as a rank-and-file Republican…

I have no animus towards John McCain. Never did. But I do question his judgement, mischievous character and mercurial personality. He only got into the Naval Academy because he’s a legacy. He finished 894 in a class of 899. He seemed to be long on balls but short on brains, which is a great prescription for a pilot during war but not for most professions during peace. Check out his service record. He crashed two planes, flew another into power lines and those with whom he served described him as cocky, cavalier and pushing the envelope…

I was inclined to vote for him in 2008 until he chose that nutcase as a running mate. Just another example of poor judgement. Finally, I agree with Trump by saying John McCain is no war hero. And why should he be. Because he got captured? Look, there were over 120,000 POWs in WWII. Were they considered war heroes. I think not. Fact is, we’ve gotten soft. It’s just more evidence of the participation trophy mentality.
In conclusion, four Pinocchios to WaPo for this particular story. In other words, it’s full of shite.
I thank you and have a blessed day!
