Anybody else get the feeling a couple years down the road the Buckeye and Nittany Lion we gain significant separation from the Hawk? Two wrestling to score the third fighting hard for position.
Only one time that I am aware.Hoffman looked dominant in his state final.
Did Beard and Hoffman only meet the 1 time?
It isn't sleeping on him. It is just what I see coming out of the development end of the three prpgrams.Your head is in the wrong spot. Future Hawkeyes on your mind instead of current Buckeye's. Sleep on Warner all you want. Kid has room to grow.

It will be a fun conversation in a couple years. Watching Hoffman today I just caught myself thing damn this kid is gonna be good after a couple years in the nutlessbucks wrestling room. No, I don't get that feeling. Ask again in 2 or 3 years.
Hoffman might start next year at 184 -- potential for massive tanshirting next year (Pletcher, McKenna, Campbell, Martin) to gear up for a run in 2020 when Bo, Jason, and Nick are gone. They are all very high quality wrestlers. Warner starts his career next year.....Hoffman a year later and Beard most likely the year after that. Warner will have a year under his belt before he and Hoffman meet and two years of college wrestling before Beard joins in. That should favor Warner at first. One thing for certain...they are all going to be hard to beat and fun to watch.
Yes, they met only that one time. As an aside, they'll be teammates this offseason, (can't remember which club, maybe Bison Legend?) so we might see them alternate at 195 and 220 in various matches.Hoffman looked dominant in his state final.

Not sure about what?

You have it now and have had it for a few years.Anybody else get the feeling a couple years down the road the Buckeye and Nittany Lion we gain significant separation from the Hawk? Two wrestling to score the third fighting hard for position.
Love ya El....If they wrestle he will not come close to Beard after being in the PSU for a couple years....Not even close when you think of who Beard will be training with....Yes, they met only that one time. Hoffman looked like the #1 wrestler in the nation today. Some context, his opponent wasn't the nearly the best 195 AA opponent -- Walters went up and dominated 220. (Both AAA finalists are better than Dull too.) That said, Hoffman beat Walters twice last year and widened the gap, so there's a reason Walters ate this year.
The Bucks are not going anywhere. Anybody wanting to challenge for team championships needs to really step it up. With the Nits and Buck's there are two beasts running out front of eve embody else.Buckeyes appear to have gotten the best PA wrester in AA, Hoffman, and the best PA wrestler in AAA, Sasso.
They're losing a great senior class, but looks like they'll be a factor for championships for a while.
