Hmmmm.... major blizzard to hit all the east coast and major cities and news outlets tomorrow... All kinds of news breaking about Spanier and Curley/Schultz. Snow and blizzard will be plastered all over the news tonight and tomorrow so let's release a bunch of info today... maybe it's a coincidence but it does make me wonder...

The thought crossed my mind as well, but only considered the march madness attention, but when you add the snow storm as well, it really makes for a good smokescreen.

BTW, they did mention Curley's plea bargain in a news clip on Sirius college sports radio, but it was not discussed in any of the talk shows.

Trump's administration is an everyday "snow storm" that would bury this info. regardless of when it was released. From the "wiretapping" to the health care plan that the CBO says will cause 14 million to lost their health care to more connections coming out between Trump surrogates and the Russians...no one is going to pay much attention to C/S/S anymore.

I'll give you this, this sure was a creative way of working in a political post where the thread had absolutely nothing to do with politics.

Response was to the OP. Did they release the info. on a plea deal right before the snowstorm so no one would notice - all the media focused on the storm. Ha. No need for that with Trump in office.

Yeah, now it makes perfect sense. Here's a newsflash: Not everyone sees the world as you do. Deal with it.

The trial starts Monday. That is why it happened today. Cases, whether they be civil or criminal, settle on the "courthouse steps" all the time. Don't overthink this one.

But this wasn't the court house steps. It is a whole week ahead of time. Which to seems like advance planning. Why not wait to next monday

The "Master Plan" is a non-story/sad joke.

PSU doesn't have sufficient DCF (discretionary cash flow) to fund a one (1) year plan, let alone a five (5) year plan or a "Master Plan".

PSU, from a financial standpoint, is "dying".
