Anyone else see the story on the origin of the "WE ARE...PENN STATE" chant? I'd heard it before but it still gave me chills just knowing Penn State's football program's role in the whole segregation issue. God bless Wally Tripplet and once again, I'm just incredibly proud to be a Penn Stater.
FWIW, things like that are part of what is adding to the growing prominence of Penn State and the diminishing negativity toward our beloved alma matre. Yes, ESPN crushed us, and now they're playing a role in where we're headed. Still not a big ESPN fan but my negativity toward's ESPN is softening, at least just a little bit.
Coming up is the dance off between the special need's fan, Zach (who baked cookies for Torance Brown) and Marcus Allen- awesome video if you haven't seen it.
