Brian Stamm, State runner up and State Champion loses a bout with cancer. Brian was a hammer on top with a bar arm only rivaled by his brother Brett a DIII national champ. RIP teammate.

Just going through a list of PIAA champs after reading the sad news above of the passing of Brian Stamm.

The performance of D-4 wrestlers and teams from the late 1970's through the 1990's was truly remarkable. Dominated in AA.

Stamm was Jim Martin's and Rob Meloy's teammate at Danville.

That team sent eight to states and won two PIAA team titles and was a runner up.
