Well, the lack of any short yardage offense finally came back to bite us.

We will never come close to a National Championship if we can't learn to run clock. Sorry, but until we clean up that zone read, and get a back that will put his head down and go FOREWARD on short yardage, we will never beat the big boys in the biggest of games.

Our last 2 "drives" were BEYOND fricken pathetic.

The problem is the coaches don't "own" their offense. We clearly can't run so late in the game they shouldn't even be trying. Everyone knows they need to run time off the clock but if it isn't in your scheme then F it and go with what got you there.

You would think Franklin and Moorhead would have learned from the Rose Bowl. But no, they had to do it all over again going into a shell and letting OSU come back. Now we need to regroup, win the rest of the games and get a good bowl game. Ohio State will run the slate and go to the playoffs again.
